Privacy Policy
Effective October 18, 2026
Who we are and what this policy covers
Breakfast Leadership Inc. ("we" or "us") collects only the personal information needed to run our website, podcast, newsletter, and the Leadership OS Diagnostic, and this policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
It applies to breakfastleadership.com, breakfastleadership.com/diagnostic, our newsletter, and any purchase, booking, or message you send us. We are a Canadian company and we handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). If you live outside Canada, we apply the same practices to you.
Our privacy contact is Michael D. Levitt, who can be reached at support@breakfastleadership.com.
What we collect
We collect the information you give us, the results we calculate from it, and basic technical data from your visit.
- Contact details: your name, email address, organization, and role, when you buy, book, subscribe, or write to us.
- Diagnostic answers and scores: your responses to the 30 questions, the scores we calculate from them, and the report we prepare for you. These describe how you see your leadership and organization, and they can be sensitive in a business setting, so we treat them as confidential.
- Purchase records: what you bought, the amount, the date, and the tax charged. Your card details are entered with our payment provider and never reach us.
- Messages and recordings: the content of emails and forms you send us, and booking details if you schedule a call.
- Technical data: your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you visit, collected automatically.
We do not ask for health information, government identification numbers, or financial account details, and the diagnostic does not need them. Please do not enter them in free text fields.
How we use your information
We use your information to deliver what you asked for, and we ask for your consent before using it for anything else.
- To deliver the diagnostic: to calculate your scores, prepare your report, and send it to you.
- To run the business: to process payments, issue receipts, meet tax and accounting rules, answer your questions, and provide support.
- To send you email: newsletters and offers, only if you have agreed to receive them. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
- To improve our work: to study results across many respondents so we can refine the questions and publish benchmarks. This use relies on anonymized data only. Results are reported in groups large enough that no person or organization can be identified.
- To keep the service secure: to prevent misuse and fix technical problems.
When you start the diagnostic, we ask you to agree to the collection and use of your answers described here. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.

Legal and business reasons. We may disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business, in which case we will tell you before your information becomes subject to a different policy.
Where it is stored, how long we keep it, and how we protect it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it, then we delete or anonymize it.
| Information | How long we keep it |
|---|---|
| Diagnostic answers and reports | 24 months after you complete the diagnostic, then deleted or anonymized |

| Contact form messages and emails | 24 months after our last exchange |

Where it is stored. Our providers may store and process information on servers outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held there can be accessed by courts and authorities under local law. By using our services you accept this transfer, and we use only providers that commit to protecting the information they hold for us.
How we protect it. Information is encrypted in transit. Access to diagnostic data is limited to the people who need it, and each diagnostic link is single use, unique to you, and stored only in scrambled form. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If something goes wrong. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as the law requires.
Your rights and choices
You can see, correct, or delete your personal information, and you can withdraw your consent at any time.
- Access: ask what we hold about you and receive a copy.
- Correction: ask us to fix anything inaccurate or incomplete.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your information, including your diagnostic answers and report.
- Withdrawal of consent: stop newsletters at any time with the unsubscribe link, or tell us to stop using your answers.
Email support@breakfastleadership.com with your request. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will respond within 30 days. Some records, such as tax records, must be kept for the period the law requires, and we will tell you if that applies.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca. We would appreciate the chance to resolve it with you first.
Cookies and email
Our website uses cookies to work properly and to measure how it is used, and the diagnostic uses only what it needs to save your place.
Website. Our website, hosted by Squarespace, uses essential cookies and analytics cookies that count visits and show which pages are popular. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may then not work as intended.
Diagnostic. The diagnostic uses essential browser storage only, to keep your place while you answer. It does not use advertising or cross-site tracking.
Email. We send newsletters and offers only with your consent, and every message identifies us and includes a working unsubscribe link. We act on unsubscribe requests promptly and always within 10 business days. Emails that deliver your purchase, your access link, or your report are service messages and are sent whether or not you subscribe to the newsletter.
Children, changes, and contact
Our services are for adults in business roles, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, tell us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy. When we make a material change, we will post the new version here with a new effective date and email people who have bought from us.
Questions, requests, and complaints about privacy go to Breakfast Leadership Inc. at support@breakfastleadership.com.
